Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the training course, the participant is expected to:

understand the beneficial effects of creative processes on the learning ability and reflexivity of children, youth and adults

become free in using creative media like music, movement, art and play within educational processes in a flexible and spontanious way

be able to reflect their own creativity

be able to reflect their education work in a sufficient and creative way

be aware of their own (professional and personal) needs and ways to foster mental health

Methodology

Lectures, examples and case studies

Experiential groups applying free improvisation in music, movement, art and play

Supervision sessions reflecting the professional practice of the participants

Professional retreat (time in nature, time for respite, healthy food and movement)

Learning material

The learning material consists of presentations and support material. The learning material will be available on-line in English language.

Cost

Tuition fee: 375 euro per person. The cost includes the learning material and the certificates: Certificate of completion, Europass Mobility. The cost can be funded by Erasmus+ programme KA1 mobility of staff.

To make your stay and leisure time while taking part in the “Creative approaches in education” as practical as possible we have prepared some suggestions for your accommodation and a dynamic additional program (green and wholesome). The additional program includes a guide, transportation and all meals.

Monday: Afternoonwalk from Slovenska vas to Petelinje lake. Dinner in Pivka

Tuesday: music around the fireplace. To make an excellent dinner we just need fire, water, a pot and a stone. In case of rain we use our fantasy and do something else J

Wedensday: Escoursion towards the Brkina area - evening in the »black kitchen« with a simple farmers dinner next to the open fireplace.

Friday: Going to the Adriatic coast.On the way we visit a winefarmer before arriving to the old town of Piran – where we have time for a swim and a fish-dinner next to the sea.

Generel information about the food during the seminar:

On all seminar days there will be included in the program as well refreshments durning the whole day, as a light lunch every day.

The additional program will include dinners according to the program. The meals are made by seasonal ingredients of local origin. Drinks not included.

The plan is adjusted to the timetable of the seminar and it will give you a chance to see some highlights of our region and meet the locals during your stay.

Price: 265 € per person

Accommodation and Local transport

In the Pivka area we have a few pensions and B&Bs – depending on the number of participants there will be two or three locations offered. All in bicycle distance from Pivka.

6 nights with breakfast in double bed room (same sex): 180 € per person

For a few participants there is single room available: surcharge 90 €

You are welcome to bring your own bicycle or rent ours. Please bring your own helmet.

Bicycle rent per week: 25 €.

For the daily transport from the B&B to the seminar area and train station (about 3 - 4 km) we will arrange a daily shuttle service. Transport from Ljubljana or Trieste airport – one way 60 € per person (max 3 persons per tour)

To make the organisation smoother and to assure your booking we kindly ask you to book the accommodation, additional program and transport with your subscription to the seminar (until 10.8.2016).
